Hi, the name's Nathan! I'm a 33-year-old husband and father who discovered a recent passion for web design and development. For the first ten years of my career, I worked in healthcare as an MRI technologist. It was a rewarding career, but as demanding as it was, my brain never felt challenged. Eventually, this became an issue as I had grown up loving math and problem-solving but never really got to use those skills anymore.
Along comes Covid-19, and everyone out there seemed to be making career changes. I figured, why shouldn't I do the same? I began researching online, looking at numerous careers, but once I spoke with some family and friends (who are software engineers), I decided to take Harvard's CS50 course (an intro to computer science). After the first week, I was hooked on software development and never looked back. Today, as a freelance web developer, I get the opportunity to combine my tech-minded brain and creativity with my passion for helping others in the ever-changing digital landscape.
